Next Generation Doctors is an event organised by Saleem. This page explains what this website collects, why, where it is kept and how to have it removed. It covers this website only.

What we collect

When you register

The registration form asks for, and stores:

• your full name
• your phone number, including the country code
• your email address
• your medical specialty
• where you work, if you tell us
• your years of experience
• whether you expect to attend, and any note you add

We ask for these because places at the event are limited and reserved for qualified physicians. Our team reviews every application and contacts each physician to confirm their place, which is what the phone number and email address are for.

We do not ask for, and you should not send us, any information about your patients or about your own health.

When you simply visit

Our host records ordinary web server information: the pages requested, the time, an approximate location derived from the network address, and the browser used. We also run the Meta pixel, described below.

Advertising and measurement

This site runs the Meta pixel, which reports page views and completed registrations to Meta so we can tell which advertisements actually reached physicians. When you complete a registration, we also send Meta a copy of that event from our own server.

Your email address, phone number and name are hashed before they are sent to Meta, using SHA-256. Meta receives a one-way fingerprint that lets it recognise an existing account it already holds. It does not receive your contact details in a form it could read or contact you with.

You can stop this at the browser level with any content blocker, or through your Meta ad preferences. Blocking it does not affect your registration in any way: the form works, your application is filed, and our team still contacts you.

Where it is kept, and who can see it

• Registrations are stored in a Supabase database owned by Saleem. Only the Saleem organising team can read them, through an internal staff portal that is on a different address to this site and is not reachable from it.
• This website is hosted by Vercel, in Frankfurt, Germany.
• Event content, meaning the agenda and any published posts, is stored in a Neon Postgres database. It contains no personal information about attendees.
• Meta receives the advertising events described above.

We do not sell your details, and we do not pass them to sponsors, exhibitors or any other third party. Campion Scientific and the Iraqi Medical Association support this event; neither of them receives the registration list.

How long we keep it

Registrations are kept until the event on 14 August 2026 has taken place and the follow-up workshop series that grows out of it has finished, and for no more than twelve months after that. After that they are deleted. Ask sooner and we will delete yours sooner.

Your choices

Write to the organising team, using the details at the end of this page, and we will, within thirty days:

• tell you exactly what we hold about you
• correct anything that is wrong
• delete your registration entirely
• stop contacting you about this event or any future one

You do not have to give a reason for any of these, and asking will not affect a place you have already been given.

Cookies

This site sets no cookies of its own. The Meta pixel sets two, _fbp and _fbc, which are what lets Meta tell one browser from another. Your browser settings and any content blocker both override this.

Children

This event is for qualified, licensed physicians. The site is not intended for anyone under 18 and we do not knowingly collect anything from them.

Changes

If what we collect changes, this page changes with it and the date at the top moves. A change that materially affects people who have already registered will be sent to them by email rather than left here to be discovered.
